As a board-certified fellowship-trained rheumatologist, Dr. Frances Lomibao’s expertise lies in autoimmunity and rare diseases as well as common musculoskeletal conditions. Dr. Lomibao believes her patients not only deserve a well-trained and trustworthy physician but also someone who will partner with them in championing their best health. Dr. Lomibao creates treatment plans with an open-minded and compassionate approach, with consideration for the individual’s wellness and lifestyle goals. In particular, Dr. Lomibao finds inspiration from self-starter patients who are motivated to learn what they can do to take ownership of their health status.
Dr. Lomibao founded Lomibao Rheumatology & Wellness Care, PLLC serving Dallas and Rowlett in 2020 to address this unmet need of rheumatologic patients who also desire physician guidance in meeting their personal wellness and lifestyle goals – cultivating a vitality mindset.
Dr. Lomibao was also named one of the “2023 Best Doctors” by the editors of D Magazine.

Carmelina Marin, PA-C has been proudly caring for patients at Lomibao Rheumatology & Wellness Care since December 2021. She comes from a background in Family Medicine, Neurology, and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She has a personal interest in Rheumatology with lupus affecting multiple family members, and a passion for caring for all patients with rheumatology needs. PA Marin brings her expertise in musculoskeletal procedures and has a special interest in tendonitis, bursitis, joint, and trigger point injection procedures.
